All Batteries carry a 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated
Terms and conditions of warranty:
The battery must be returned to Taurus Batteries South Africa, within the Warranty Term and the purchaser must exhibit proof of purchase of the Battery at Taurus Batteries South Africa.
Batteries are warranted against all manufacturing defects.
The warranty does not cover batteries that were neglected, abused, improperly used, misapplication, or over/under charging.
Batteries that have the labels and filler plugs tampered with will not be accepted.
Warranty is invalid if date markings are defaced.
A battery out of the warranty period will be rejected.
A battery damaged due to fitment of additional accessories in vehicles other than the original fitment will be rejected
Warranty is invalid if the battery does not comply with the vehicle manufacturers’ official specified ampere hour capacity.
Taurus Batteries SA accepts no responsibility for any consequential damage caused directly or indirectly to the vehicle or components within the vehicle through the failure or defect of the battery.
Warranty is invalid if an automotive battery is used other than for automotive applications.
The charging system shall be checked by the Company’s authorised personnel before finalising the settlement of any Warranty Claim.
Adjudication and settlement of claims will take a couple of days as the battery has to be tested for the reported failure.
The warranty on the replaced battery shall extend from the original purchased date and not the replaced date.
Customers are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these conditions at the time of purchase
